Boy of 6 claims £1,500 after basketball stand falls on his head

Our client, a boy aged 6 years, was attending a Playrangers event at a local park when a basket ball stand with an adjustable height fell on his head causing shock and a deep laceration and was rushed to the hospital.  He had a 1.5cm cut to the top of his head.  A claim was made to Cheltenham Borough Council.

The boy’s physical symptoms had subsided within two weeks.  Damages for pain, suffering and loss of amenity: £1,500.00.
